March 2016
Well the middle of March is almost here and winter will soon be officially past for an other nine months. March 12 marked not only Marcel's 36 birthday but also the fourth anniversary of the confirmation of the biopsy results from Jane. Both the meetings with the surgeon and the oncologist are still clearly edged in our minds,  I remember sitting down, trying to process what the surgeon had just told Monic, Christine and myself (and Jane still in recovery). The following words were "dropped" in my conciousness:   For you today everything changed, but for Me nothing changed,
for I do not change. I am not saying now, oops what am I going
                                                     to do with Jane.
That was the whole of the message and I have been hanging on to this, especially at times when the going was difficult. To know that God does not have a plan B for our lives but we are always on plan A has been a great comfort.
This winter has been different for us in Williamsford. We have had only a couple of one or two heavy snow days. But overall not a lot of snow, as well as no extreme long cold periods.
Been able to visit not only with the Heenes in London (when we would meet with Dr Vincent) but also a couple of times already this year with the rest of the clan in Moline, Crown Point and Jenison.
We are looking forward to hopefully more family time this summer.
With Jane now on the same medication for over 12 months, travelling further away from Ontario is more of a possibility, but we have no plans as yet.
Needless to say that we are looking forward to this July when Benj and Kelly are expecting their latest addition to their family.
Hoping this blog finds all of you in good health and spirit. An e-mail from you readers would be much appreciated by the both of us.  nrdrmr@xplornet.com  or  marinusnoordermeer@yahoo.ca
